Journey Started

Journey of the Rajputana Cloth Store was started Year 1948 by Mr. Jainath Agarwal. He was born in Ambala, did his schooling from Mussorie, graduation from Delhi (Hindu Collage). He was least interested to join his fathers business of selling fabrics (wholesaler), who was based in DelhiтАЩs famous Chandani Chowk. Mr. Jainath Agarwal got supply order in Rajasthan, when he started travelling to Jaipur.

Seeing to his zeal and hard work, Mr. Chunnilal Jaipuria (then owner of the Jaipuria Mansion at Panch Batti and a very close friend of Mr. AgarwalтАЩs father) offered him to manage and upkeep тАШJaipuria MansionтАЩ and also the store тАУ then called Rajputana Store Pvt. Ltd. ┬аMr. Agarwal put in all his hard work, sincerity and loyalty to build an image amongst the residents of Jaipur.

For too many, it was a departmental store, to others a clothing store, and to still others, a menтАЩs store, ladies' favorite for sarees, Jaipuri razaiтАЩs, while to select a few, a specialty store selling exclusive and quality products- specially hand picked from Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Jammu, Srinagar, Banaras.
